The Angkor complex covers and area of 200 square kilometers in north-western Cambodia. It includes numerous temples and monuments of which the most famous is Angkor Wat. The so-called Angkor period spanned the ninth to the fifteenth centuries A.D. This sequence of images includes Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, the Bayon, Ta Prohm, Srah Srang and Prasat Kravan.
