Ian has lived and worked in Asia for more than 20
years and developed a passion for the people and places of the region. That passion gradually merged with, and
intensified, Ian’s long time interest in photography. A strong sense of geometry and spatial
relationships, perhaps born from early training in mathematics, gave way
over the years to a greater emphasis on emotional relationships with
subjects, and between subjects.
Ian now focuses his lens mainly on the daily
rituals, joys and tragedies of every day life and death in the countries he
visits.
